Kitchen Aid Pro Mixer

What better way to mix your dough, mixtures, salads, spreads, and other kitchen goodies than to use a professional-style food mixing machine in your kitchen? One of the better mixers out there is the Kitchen Aid Pro Mixer.

The Kitchen Aid Pro mixer features an all-metal, robust stand mixer with ten speeds powered by a 575-watt motor. For example, it can mix well more than 12 cups of all-purpose flour and even around eight pounds of mashed potatoes. The user also has the option to choose up to ten speeds ranging from a gentle stir to a fast whip.

Along with the ten speeds, the Kitchen Aid pro mixer also has a feature called a “soft start feature.” What this does is to minimize the splatter of food and material inside the bowl when it starts to spin. This is in contrast to other mixers that tend to start out strong and then splay out food material all around the kitchen sink or preparation table in the process. Even for all its steely power, the Kitchen Aid pro mixer is designed in such a way to leave the least amount of mess around the area.

The Kitchen Aid pro mixer’s bowl is made out of well contoured stainless steel and can hold up to 6 quarts material, and is designed with a direct drive transmission. It also has an electronic speed sensor, and an automatic shut-off mechanism. This feature is extremely useful in more commercial settings, where there is mass production of food. The shut-off mechanism is activated once the machine detects overload and too much resistance caused by hardening mixtures. The bowl can be lifted into the mixing arm using a bowl lift design, and subsequently eliminates the need to raise the mixing arm itself.

The Kitchen Aid pro mixer also has accessories to serve different mixing needs and to accommodate different types of mixtures and their corresponding densities. For example, aside from the regular beater, the machine comes with a wire whip, spiral dough hook, and a flat beater. The Kitchen Aid pro mixer’s PowerKnead spiral dough hook is of course, for mixing dough up and distributing its contents thoroughly, churning several batches of bread work with its strong, stainless steel design. The spiral hook is designed in such a way that the Kitchen Aid pro mixer mimics the effect of a human hand kneading and rolling a lump of dough.

The Kitchen Aid pro mixer’s attachment hub is covered with a hinge flip cover so that it is protected against splatter and allows for easy installation of beaters. Packaged along with the Kitchen Aid pro mixer is a pouring shield so that you can just pour in the contents to be mixed without worrying about spills outside the bowl.
